Visual identities for a clean energy company’s solar, wind and transmission projects.

Project Overview:
For Invenergy, a leader in clean and renewable energy, I developed visual identities for solar, wind, and transmission projects across multiple regions. These logos were designed to foster community engagement and reflect the unique characteristics of each project’s location while adhering to Invenergy’s brand standards.

My Role:
As the primary designer, my responsibilities included creating 3-5 logo concepts per project, handling illustration, and managing feedback loops with internal stakeholders to ensure that the logos were both visually impactful and culturally sensitive.

Challenges:
In regions where environmental concerns were high, the design had to avoid symbols that could incite opposition. Collaboration with the project developers was critical to ensure each logo resonated with the community without offending local sentiments regarding endangered flora or fauna.

Results:
The logos played a pivotal role in facilitating project approvals and community acceptance. Beyond internal approval, these designs were integral to maintaining Invenergy’s credibility within communities, helping bolster trust and support. As a result, the company’s projects were met with less resistance, streamlining municipal approval processes and reinforcing brand visibility.
