Challenge

The task was to create compelling campaign assets for a fundraiser, including a direct mail letter, envelope, buckslip, postcard, emails, social media graphics, and a donation landing page. The goal was to weave the organization’s story into these materials, showcase its impact, and raise funds for the programs. The challenge lay in designing cohesive, branded, and visually impactful campaign materials that aligned with the organization's existing branding guidelines.

Solution

I started by developing a versatile campaign logo, ensuring brand recognition across various platforms. The choice of consistent and impactful photography from the organization’s library further unified the campaign’s visual language. I prioritized designing the donation landing page, ensuring a seamless donor experience. The printed materials like the direct mail letter and postcard were crafted iteratively, balancing visual appeal with the campaign’s message. The digital components, including social media graphics and emails, were created with multiple concepts to choose the most effective ones.

Impact

The campaign was a resounding success, exceeding its fundraising goal by raising over $50,000. The cohesive design and messaging played a crucial role in engaging donors and achieving this milestone.

Conclusion

This project demonstrates how strategic design can significantly impact a nonprofit's fundraising efforts. By unifying the visual elements and messaging, the campaign not only reached but surpassed its financial goals, underlining the power of thoughtful design in nonprofit communication.
